The quality of this frame was very poor compare to other. I went through the reviews for this item and thought it was OK to buy at this price. Its going to be there life time showing my pictures on the quality that i am not satisfied with. I would add 30 dollar more and buy a better one. At the same time i also ordered Kodak 8'' photo frame. Once i inserted the SD card and start looking photos.
The colors were slightly off (too yellow). The controls (setup and menu) were difficult to use. A shuffle mode on the slide show would be an improvement. On the positive side are good brightness, OK picrure quality and nice finish. The 16:9 ratio is to long for this sort of product. Photos are seldom in that format.
Nothin' fancy about it - just works. I bought one for me, and two more for bday presents for the Grandma's. Works as it's supposed to - does the job - looks just fine. Don't know who's complaining about this frame but they must be pretty picky about things. ;-) Drag pics to a SD card on ur computer and load it in the digital frame, turn it on and there u go. That's about it.
I am not going to reveal the bug that the software has at auto start/off function unless Philips pays me for the time I 've spent. Very nice color quality where black is black. Generally , I didn't expect such sleazy software form a company named Philips. Also the random fuction does not work at all. I rate this product with only 2 stars because I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how auto start/off works. And because time is money, this product has a very high price to value ratio.
Ordinary Display screenNo remote controlStiff buttons (difficult to locate)No worth spending money on it.
